Parking There is free parking in the parking lot. Restaurant Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by old school R&B, the hostess was very pleasant. After being seated our waiter Nelson arrived. Nelson was very pleasant. I questioned him about the Atlanta Hot Chicken sandwich. He told me if i was not satisfied with the sandwich he would make it right. Moving forward to the drinks. The smoked old fashion was right on point as well as the jalapeño bourbon drink. Not too hot but just the right amount of spice. The Atlanta Hot Chicken sandwich was delish. The meat was moist with just the right amount of heat. The cole slaw was the perfect touch to the heat. The fries were a little crunch on the outside but soft on the inside. The braised short rib was so tender. The potato and parsnip mash was to die for. Overall this is a do over for my spouse and I.
I popped in for a quick salad on a weekday for an early dinner. I restaurant has a bit of southern charm with a beautifully appointed patio seating area. I ordered the Cobb salad with salmon from the bar. It took a long time to come out but it was delicious and full of flavor. The salad dressing was also delicious too. The bartender was not as attentive as I would have liked him to be. I'd try this restaurant again if service times improved.
Amazing restaurant! It's gorgeous inside and the staff and owner are so nice and accommodating! We had the crab cakes, calamari, cornbread, truffled mushroom pasta, and the herb seared salmon. All amazing! And one of the best crème brûlées I ever tasted. This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Lawrenceville.
This is my second time visiting Parkside District and it did not disappoint! I made a reservation for six people using the Yelp app and I needed to change it at the last minute, and the hostess that helped me over the phone was a doll! I don't remember her name, but she was so helpful and kind! I decided to have a light lunch today so I ordered a Caesar salad and a crab cake. The salad alone is enough to have as a meal. The crabcake was divine with chunks of crab meat in every bite. I took the arugula that comes with the crabcake and added it to my salad I also tried my friend's brussels sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious as well. We had a party of six and we were able to get individual checks for each person which is always appreciated. 20% Gratuity was added into each check.
Stopped for dinner after a long day. We got there around 5. We were seated soon after. You may note their restaurant rating (inspection score) when you enter...it looks worse than what it is. You will have to check that out and decide for yourselves. We had a great meal. No complaints. The food was hot and plentiful. We had great service. I would eat there again. The drink menu is huge. So much to choose from. It was far bigger than the food menu. I liked the decor and the ambiance is very nice. It wasn't loud which is great when you want to have a conversation with others. Give them a try. I believe you will be pleasantly pleased.
